All the events are virtual. We will update you on registration link, instructions to upload your contents soon! Below are some additional guidelines and instructions for participants:

1. Dance / Arts:

   • Silambam, Kalari, Parai, Oyilattam, Mayilattam, Kolattam, Kummi, Karakattam, Kavadiattam, or any other art forms are accepted.

   • Strictly No movie or religious dances and songs are allowed.

2. Tamil Singing:

   • Songs that embrace language, culture, and nature (e.g., Bharathiyar, Barathidasan) songs or poetry.

   • No movie or religious songs are allowed.

3. Video / Audio (Music):

   • Please ensure the video for any art (dance, singing, martial arts) does not exceed more than 2.5 minutes.

   • Ensure your video is in the following formats: MP4, MPEG with 1080p/4K/HD resolution.

   • Ensure the audio is clear with no background noise.

   • Please play your content on a computer to ensure both audio and video quality prior to uploading it to the portal.

4. Thirukkural Recital:

   • Kural vilakkam (clear explanation) is needed for each kural, to be provided following each recital.

5. Tamil Speech / Editorial Writing:

   • Topics should not embrace religion or caste but can include cultural festivals and their importance, global warming, a book you love, healthy habits, history, historic places, national leaders, the national movement, technology, and developments.

6. Drawing / Painting:

   • It can be pencil drawing, sketch, watercolor, or acrylic. A theme or a story behind it would be appreciated and will add more value to it.

7. Tamil Handwriting:

   • Write on a plain or ruled sheet, but no stencils are allowed.

   • words or few letters (for Mazhalai) or a sentence or two (for Grades 1 and 2) are appreciated.

8. Topic Selection:

   • Please reach out to your respective class teachers for choosing topics for speech, songs, poetry, dance, martial arts, and align with them.
